Morning Car Drop-Off Procedures:

All students being dropped off must go through car line.

•      Students may be dropped off starting at 7:15 a.m.

•      There is only one drop-off line (near the sidewalk).

•      If you are the first vehicle, pull all the way to the orange cone.

•      All cars that are stopped from the orange cone to the end of the sidewalk need to unload.  If it is raining, unload from the front to the end of the covered sidewalk.

•      If you need assistance or your child is having a difficult time getting out of the vehicle, quickly blow your horn and faculty/staff wll come and help.

•      Students may not be dropped off at the front entrance.

•      Students are to go to the gym or to breakfast where they will be supervised.

•      They will be dismissed at 7:40 from the gym to their classrooms.

•·         The staff drive may not be used from 7:00-8:00 for dropping off students.

•·         The grassy areas may not be used for parking.  There is additional parking on the south side of campus if needed.

Afternoon Car Pick-Up Procedures:

•·         All students being picked up by a car must go through car line.

•·         Car line students are dismissed at 2:50.

•·         Students need listen for their car name, and watch for their vehicle.

•·         When a student's name is called, the students will line up on the sidewalk and wait to load.

•·         Students may not go to their cars and load until 2 whistles have been blown.  This is an important safety issue.

**In the event of severe lightning or rain, cars will be directed to the front entrance.  DPEE employees will help unload students.

Morning Drop-Off & Afternoon Pick-Up Tips

•1.     When unloading, your child needs to be ready to get out of the car when you stop.

•2.     Disengage a child lock before pulling up to the sidewalk/covered area.

•3.     Everyone is important at DPEE so be patient with faculty and each other.

Written permission from the parent is required for a student to ride a bus that is not assigned to him/her.  The student must have the principal's approval prior to boarding the bus.
