  About The School

Daphne East Opened Its Doors in 2004

Daphne East Elementary School opened in August 2004.  The school currently serves K-6 in the eastern part of the city and has approximately 960 students.  Our legacy for the future will be profound by giving the students the opportunity to become productive, knowledgeable, and responsible citizens.  Daphne East offers many opportunities for students to become involved with an emphasis on the Alabama Reading Initiative, a nationally recognized Peer Helper Program, and the newly established Daphne East Choir. With a common goal, Daphne East staff and families work together side by side to ensure that we are "Building a Foundation for Success" for our children.
